Most people never quite create the portrait that reflects the relationship they actually share with their dog.

The photographs most people keep are quick moments.

A face on the sofa. Muddy paws at the back door. The look they give you when they already know where you’re going.

But eventually, many people realise they never created anything that properly reflected who the dog actually was to them.

Phone photos document moments.

Finished artwork preserves presence.

The portraits people return to most often rarely live on a phone.

They become part of the house itself.

A familiar glance across the room.

A face still waiting at the bottom of the stairs.

Something quietly woven into everyday life.

Most people already know where they would place it long before they decide to begin.

I’ve lived with spaniels for more than seventeen years.

The routines become familiar long before you notice it happening.

The look across the kitchen.

Waiting by the door before you’ve picked up the lead.

Quiet company becoming part of everyday life.

That understanding shapes the way I work with dogs and the people who love them.

Over the last fourteen years, families across Cheshire and North Wales have trusted me to create artwork that reflects not just how their dog looked, but who they are to live with.

I’ll take the time to understand your dog properly before anything else begins.

The responses are often quieter than people expect.

“I wish I’d done this with my previous dog.”

Most people don’t arrive expecting the experience to feel emotional until they see their dog properly for the first time.

“You’ve really captured their character.”

The experience is designed to feel calm from the beginning.

Stage 1

Before anything is planned, I’ll ask you to tell me what makes your dog unmistakably themselves.

The small habits people live with every day often matter more than they realise.

The place they always choose to sleep.

The look they give you across the room.

The routines that quietly become part of home.

Stage 2

On the day itself, the session works around your dog’s personality rather than against it.

Nervous dogs, excitable dogs, older dogs and dogs who never sit still are all approached differently.

Nothing is rushed and nothing depends on perfect behaviour.

Deciding on studio or country park

Some dogs feel most at ease outdoors. Others settle more comfortably in the studio. I’ll help you decide what feels most appropriate for them.

Stage 3

Later the same day, you’ll return to view the portraits together during your design consultation.

For most people, this is the first time they’ve seen their dog reflected back at them in this way.

Stage 4

From there, we’ll decide what belongs in your home and how you want to live with it every day.

A small number of portrait experiences are released each month in support of Dogs Trust.

Your £35 goes directly to Dogs Trust.

A £75 credit is already applied towards whatever artwork you choose for your home.

For many people, supporting dog welfare simply feels like part of the same decision.

Because each experience is approached individually, only a small number are arranged each month.

Most families create a framed artwork for their home.

Artwork options start from £295.

Some choose a single piece for a hallway or sitting room. Others create larger collections that become part of the rhythm of the house over time.

The design consultation is there to help you decide what feels right for both your dog and your home, without pressure or expectation.

Saturday sessions require a £50 Priority Credit in addition to your £35 donation. This is applied in full toward your artwork at your design consultation.

Before this chapter quietly changes.

The routines feel permanent until one day you notice how much of life has quietly arranged itself around them.

The place they sleep.

The sound of them following you through the house.

The familiar look across the room while they’re still exactly themselves.

For most people, there simply comes a point where it feels right to create something they can live with every day.

When you're ready, this is where it begins.
